CARMEN LOBUE is a Non-Binary African American-Filipino Filmmaker with a passion for storytelling, social activism, and uplifting the lgbtqia community through their work as an artist and collaborator. Carmen’s early recognition as a filmmaker includes Paper Magazine's "Paper Predictions: 100 people taking over 2019" and the Disruptor Foundation (Craig Hatkoff) and The Legacy Lab’s 2018 New Legacy Maker Honoree. Carmen directed the award winning film Pink & Blue, Executive Produced by Silas Howard (Transparent, Pose). Recent credits include: Hulu’s series, Your Attention Please Initiative 29. “A Girl Like Me” (OUTtv) starring Miss Peppermint (Rupaul’s drag race). As an actor, Carmen LoBue played the first non binary trans character, DRE, on season 3 of Showtime’s The L Word: Generation Q. Upcoming: 808
