Special Agent Lobar is the Civil Rights Coordinator for the FBI’s Detroit Field Office. Special Agent Lobar is part of the FBI’s team that investigates criminal violations of federal civil rights laws.

The FBI is the primary federal agency responsible for investigating possible violations of federal civil rights statutes. The FBI has also established relationships with state and local law enforcement agencies, prosecutors, non-governmental organizations, and community and minority groups. The FBI works to improve the reporting of civil rights violations, promote the benefits of sharing information and intelligence, and develop proactive strategies for identifying and addressing trends in this field.
