We hear the same thing every two years: THIS is the most important election of our lifetimes. But is it actually? Objectively speaking, it absolutely is. Democracy doesn't work perfectly, but we as communities have opportunities to advocate, education, and build power through voting and voter engagement. Michigan is a case-study of how we move from an anti-LGBTQ landscape to a pro-LGBTQ state. Here we will dive into why voting is important, why it's the best tool in the fight for equality, and how we can all do our part.
