This session is virtual and open to parents, caregivers and adult allies ages 25 and older.
In this 90-min workshop, parents and caregivers of transgender and non-binary children will explore the journey from uncertainty to understanding. The session will cover essential topics such as the basics of gender identity, the importance of acceptance, and effective communication strategies for supporting their children's unique experiences. Through powerful drawings created by youth, participants will gain insight into the emotional struggles these young people face. The workshop will provide practical guidance on what to say and what not to say, fostering a supportive environment where children can thrive in their true selves.
